About Robb Hansen

Speaking Personally…

I was born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago so I consider myself a died-in-the-wool Windy City native.  What politics!  What a skyline!  I’ve watched the ups and downs of the Bears, the Bulls, the Blackhawks, the Cubs, and even (grudgingly), the White Sox (apologies south-siders).  From early on I’ve had a desire to help other people so its natural that I’d end up serving nonprofits that serve the wider community.  College was at Wheaton, a fantastic institution and graduate school was at Trinity.  Academics never got in the way of serving however, and I’ve enjoyed leading youth groups and coaching soccer over many years.  Cycling has been my way of enjoying the outdoors and I still love it.

My greatest joy in life is my family, my wonderful wife Gina and my four kids.  There’s nothing like living life and knowing at the close of each day you’re special to someone and they’re special to you.  From a faith standpoint we worship at The Orchard, a wonderfully gospel centered church.  Given our dedication to spiritual things, I’m probably most comfortable in the faith-based area of nonprofit work, but have been privileged to work in the wider community as well.

Professionally I’m deeply committed to helping nonprofit organizations tell their stories in interesting and compelling ways that will motivate giving and advance their causes.  Everyone on our team counts it a privilege to serve the groups we support!
